Celtic youth
If there were only one place, only one event to signpost for immediate immersion in the heart of the Breton soul, it would be here. In Lorient’s port, the first notes of a bagad pipe band waft through the air. The starting signal for a week of music and festivities, the very best of Celtic countries’ creation. Each nation has its own pavilion, athrong with visitors during the daytime. Processions, games and dancing in Lorient’s streets… and you won’t be the exception! We all share something indescribable. Something essential. In the evening, a change of atmosphere: the Grand Parade of Celtic Nations with its 3,500 performers shows up in an ecstatic Moustoir Stadium. Time for concerts and Fest-Noz – total, unadorned entertainment! We’re fans for all these reasons, as well as of the Celtic village, an ultra-convivial green venue alongside the stadium, where you can down pots of cotriade fish stew to music, on long tables… Unadulterated delight!
