From port to port
Every odd-numbered year, take a trip to the Gulf of Morbihan to admire the best of Europe’s sailing heritage. In this magnificent setting dotted with small islands, come and see the majestic tall ships perform their elegant dance, along with boats of a more makeshift nature that also join in the parade. Following the ebb and flow of the tides and currents, the flotillas stop at around 15 ports taking part in the festival. A different country of honour is named each time Gulf Week is held, and its fleet is invited to take part. On the quaysides there are exhibitions, workshops for children, oyster tastings and music to make the party last all night.
