Tour de France 2025

11 to 27 July 2025

It’s the cycling event of the year: the Tour de France, that legendary sporting challenge that sparks a wave of popular jubilation far and wide in the early days of summer. This coming July, Brittany will be at the centre of festivities with 2 stages over 2 days, celebrating a great love story between the region and the Tour! But Brittany isn’t stopping there: in 2025 it’ll also be launching the 4th edition of the Women’s Tour de France with Zwift, with 3 captivating stages on its soil.

An eco-responsible Tour

Just like any other event, the Tour de France has an impact on the environment. While the race’s organisers work hard to reduce it, Brittany, which is fully committed to the ecological transition, is particularly rigorous in this regard. Hosting the race is a festive occasion… It will be all the more successful if it leaves the lightest possible ecological footprint behind it! Adopting an environmental approach first of all means that everybody must make a few efforts.

For everybody’s safety, do the right thing!

What with the cyclists, the Tour’s staff, the caravan, and the public of course, there’ll be quite a lot of people in the towns and villages and up on the hillsides! Basic imperatives: stay on the side of the road and don’t cross it. Don’t use flares on the roadside. Never leave your children unsupervised or let your pets run free. Don’t run alongside the cyclists and make sure you keep at least 2 metres away from them.
