If you are after excitement, you can't do better than go to the Fort de Bertheaume at the western tip of Brittany - an exhilarating adventure for all the family above the Iroise Sea.

Plougonvelin is almost Land's End! More importantly, it's where Bertheaume Iroise Aventure provides excitement for everyone with its specialised adventure activities. Equipped with a harness and attached to a continuous safety wire, you can scale the rocks or take yourself even higher with the Himalayan style rope bridges. And then there is the 'crème de la crème' for the really intrepid - two zip-wires, one 100 metres long and the other 200, on which you are suspended some 40 to 50 metres...
