On the cobbled streets of old Rennes, at the foot of the cathedral, this house has an infectious good humour... Don't miss out, either inside or on the lovely, partly shaded terrace.

On the yellow façade of this pretty bistro with its vintage look and slate roof, it says "land of plenty"... Abundance of smiles and "good food", we should add. At lunchtime, the kitchen offers a short menu of daily specials, burgers and vegetarian dishes. In the evening, it sends out its "bolinettes", between tapas and sharing plates, with roast camembert, tea-marinated beef tataki, houmous with preserved lemon or split pea falafel. All of this is accompanied by a selection of well-sourced...

Saturday lunchtime, when the public arrive after shopping at the nearby Lices market.
