This campsite is set around the Etang du Boulet (Boulet lagoon), the largest stretch of water in the area, whose 150 hectares have been designated a ‘Natura 2000’ protected site. The flora and fauna here is superb, and the 6.5km trail with information points winds round the water’s edge, where you might spot the rare crested newt or coleanthus grass. The 12 walking and biking trails in the area are great for exploring the forests and landscape of the Pays d'Aubigné area –guides are available at the watersports centre. Don’t miss the Rigole du Boulet, a mini-canal that feeds into the lle-et-Rance canal. The campsite also organises mountain-biking (bikes can be hired on site), canoeing and old ship excursions some Sundays in summer.
