Shops, workshops, a public fountain, luxurious town houses... In Carhaix, archaeologists have excavated 8,000 m² to reveal the opulent lifestyle of ancient Rome, which was well established in Armorica. An interactive and digital exhibition, Vorgium brings back the past as if you were there. You can dive into the exhibition in two stages, on a self-guided tour. Look, manipulate, explore... With films, games and objects found on site, the permanent exhibition (140 m²) retraces the birth, daily life and then the decline of Vorgium, one of the largest cities in ancient Armorica, capital of the Osismes. In the archaeological garden, follow the signposted route through the narrow streets of a once lively district of the Gallo-Roman town. The tablet will magically open the doors to three-dimensional augmented reality in the middle of ancient Gallo-Roman houses!
