Designed by the famous course architect Fred Hawtree and opened just over 50 years ago, Quimper-Cornouaille claims to be the oldest course on Brittany’s glorious south coast. Lying within the Fouesnant forest and alongside the Bay of Concarneau just about 10 miles south of Quimper, it measures 6200 yards and provides a thorough examination without being at all unfair.
