Golf Gilles de Boisgelin

While the course is little more than thirty years old, the estate on which it is located has been owned by the Boisgelin family since 1166 - almost eight and a half centuries! The descendants of this illustrious Breton noble family created the golf course when the estate was first opened to the public. The course extends over an open area of land, dominated on one side by the château, which is now a hotel, and on the other by a majestic manor house which is a listed building. Although the trees do not come into play, the course’s 9 holes are quite technical due to the layout of land and the water features. With a very good restaurant, this golfing venue well deserves its excellent reputation.
