The Manoir de Kermodest is a beautiful 16th-17th century building carefully renovated to provide a traditional yet modern hotel. This former outhouse of La Roche Jagu castle has 7 spacious rooms, decorated cottage-style with exposed beams. There is a sunny terrace for you to enjoy summer days by the heated pool (open May to September). The manor is surrounded by 16 hectares of landscaped grounds by the Trieux river, and a number of hiking trails run close by. The tourist steam-train La Vapeur du Trieux runs through the estate and even makes a stop in the neighbouring forest. Yann used to work in the deli trade in Paris, and has now returned to his home turf to provide locally sourced seasonal food and fresh produce from the market. The two restaurants can accommodate up to 200 guests for weddings and seminars.
