The Ty Mad, literally, "the good house", has always been a place of well-being, gastronomy and culture. Arnaud and Armelle Raillard have a refined passion for the arts, for materials that are both fine and eco-friendly and this is how they have perpetuated the tradition of this ‘artists house’ that in its day has played host to both Max Jacob and Picasso. Unpolished wood floors, walls whitewashed with lime, designer or collectible furniture…, each room is enriched with the owners’ favourite things accumulated over the years. Vincent Jugeau’s cuisine reflects the image of the place: light, natural, organic. Tea in the garden, a reading break in one of the sitting-rooms, a moment of relaxation in the steam-room, a swim in the Saint-Jean inlet below: you soon feel at home in this haven of serenity.
