One day, Martine set off to join a friend in Stockholm... on foot from Rennes! And it was in Scandinavia that the traveller learned to blow glass. Forty years later, the fire of passion is still burning. In an old garage in Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes, transformed into a cocoon-like studio-boutique, Martine creates vases, bowls and bottles with pure lines. Simplicity of form, transparency of glass, joyful colours... Martine magnifies the arts of the table. The Atelier de verre is a creative space, as well as an exhibition and meeting place. Come and watch her juggle with the molten material. From time to time, Martine offers introductory courses and classes - from 15 minutes to 5 hours. She'll be happy to guide you as you take your first steps in shaping, modelling and blowing glass in front of an audience.
