Overnight gîte in La Chapelle-de-Brain

  • Somewhere between an ‘auberge’ and a ‘maison d’hôte’ the appropriately named Hôt’berge gives its guests a truly environmental welcome. Situated in a peaceful village near to the Chapelle-de-Brain, the building has been completely renovated from top to bottom using natural materials. The facade, built from local blue schist stone is what really gives the place its character. Inside, five differently themed rooms will carry you away to distant climes: la Jonque, la Felouque, la Pirogue… All...

On the menu you’ll find homemade produce and local specialities all of which are served in a large but cosy living room, with kitchen and dining area. Books and games are also available. Outside, a marked trail will lead you straight to the Gannedel marshes, a welcome refuge for pike and migrating birds.
