Facing north west, Moulin de la Rive beach offers a fine Atlantic swell, where you can surf practically every day. It is here that Surfing Locquirec is open from July to September. “The waves are bigger at low tide allowing some very good surfing. At high tide, there are fewer waves and it’s ideal for a trip on a Stand Up Paddle,” explianed Yoann Chardonnet. Various combinations are available to learn how to surf. Those between the ages of four and eight will enjoy the “Wave Garden”: 45 minutes of games on the beach and 45 minutes of surfing. For older children, there are individual lessons and various programmes with between one and ten two-hour sessions. As for paddle-boarding, there is the choice between an introductory trip or a “hike”. “I also invite people to sign up for the ‘Food trip’, where they can taste local produce down on the beach,” added the instructor. Suits to keep you warm and boards bought this year are available for hire.
