Your trip
What about using a form of transport that’s kind to the environment to tour around the Gulf of Morbihan? Starting in Vannes, this “bike” circuit will provide multiple points of view of this “inland sea” and its emblematic sites. You’ll be accompanied by the many birds that seek refuge on the Séné peninsula. You’ll make use of boat connections to get away for a day to Ile d’Arz and Ile-aux-Moines, two perfect islands for two wheels (and others). On the cycle paths and quiet roads on the Rhuys peninsula, you’ll see creeks, tips and typical ports. In Port-Navalo, a ferryman will take you to Locmariaquer and the northern coast of the Gulf. The famous standing stones of Carnac and the impressive port of La Trinité-sur-Mer are not be far away. The beautiful beaches in the area will invite you to take a well-earned break. Rejuvenated, you’ll slowly pedal alongside the Auray River to the charming Saint-Goustan district. A short ride on the lush banks of the Gulf to Vannes and the loop is finished!
