2.30pm – Discover the salt industry of Guérande
From the sea to the salt mill! Make your way to Pradel in the Guérande salt marshes and take a tour proposed by Terre de Sel. For 45 minutes, a salt worker or a naturalist guide will lead you around a salt pan and explain how it works. You will also discover the water’s route as it circulates from pond to pond, from the Atlantic to the crystallising pond. Once crystallised, the salt is harvested using a traditional method. After the tour, naturally you need to taste the coarse salt and the salt flower. Do you like it? Then stock up in the boutique!
